Who we are

Randy Steiger | Principal/Designer – founded Conflare upon a passion for great design. With the first part of his career spent recruiting talent and surviving the dot-com bubble burst, he has over 10 years of web design and development experience working for a wide array of clients. His love of design and commitment to upholding a standard of excellence, have won him widespread recognition and a reputation for producing clean and compelling experiences.

Martin Pierce | Principal/Designer – joined Conflare after 20 years working as art/creative director at advertising agencies in Seattle, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Most recently he was creative director at Outsource Marketing. His national accounts include clients such as Old Navy, Trump, E!, RJ Reynolds, Merck, Hallmark, McDonald's and Toys R' Us.

Sheila Otter | Director of Client Services – joined Conflare with a wide range of marketing skills. Also known as our Senior Jack-of-all-trades, she has over 20 years of experience including account management, product marketing, public relations, design and advertising. With both strategic and creative skills, she excels as a project manager keeping teams on task with client objectives. She’s our big picture strategist with an eye for detail.

Timeca Briggs | Designer/Copywriter – an initial strategic member of Conflare, she possesses a superb creative vision, highly communicative style and deep understanding of design. Her background includes over 10 years of experience as a theatre artist, project manager, copywriter and designer. A relentless task-master, she is highly organized, client-focused, detail-oriented and deadline-driven.

Trevor Schmidt | Lead Web Developer – a key member of Conflare, he specializes in powerful, easy-to-use, interactive web design and applications. His broad skill set includes graphic & web design, user-interface design, and server/client-side programming & application development. Strict about employing development standards and best practices, this is the man we turn to for the most complicated of technical tasks.

Jordan Hill | Web Developer – a UW graduate in Art & Math and self-taught web programmer, he is the newest member of Conflare's team. As he expands his skill-sets and adjusts to his life at Conflare — all while remaining steadfast to the joys of Linux among a cadre of Mac geeks — he assists in research, theme building and configuring architecture for a variety of web development projects.
